Bingo Caller 3000

A full-featured bingo hall application. Set up the night's sessions, call the balls from one screen, and put the board on every TV in the room. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, entirely on your own computer, with no internet connection. It is a free download.

What it does

Everything a caller needs for a night of bingo, from the first packet sold to the last coverall.

Sessions that do the math

Enter the players, packets sold, and prices. The prize pool is sales minus operating costs, shared across the games with a double share for the last two. Late arrivals are added mid-session, and the prizes still to be won recalculate on the spot.

A control screen for the caller

Call a ball with the space bar, type in balls from a physical blower, or let auto-call draw every 5 to 20 seconds. Auto-call stops by itself while a card is verified, and a reloaded tab picks the game up exactly where it left off.

231 patterns, plus your own

Lines, letters, shapes, holiday, and crazy patterns, each rated for difficulty. Draw your own on a grid, mark it rotatable or mirrorable, and exclude any column it never needs so those balls are never called.

The board on every screen

Any TV, tablet, or computer on the same network opens the display in a browser, with no sign-in. Calls arrive live. If a screen loses its connection, it falls back to refreshing every 3 seconds and the game carries on.

Something to watch between games

Between games the display shows every game as a tile, with winners' names and gold jackpot tiles for the last two. Switch on 900 jokes that never repeat in a session, or a fact about each number as it is called.

A record of the night

When the last winner is confirmed, a metrics page lists every game's calls, winner, and prize, with the hottest and coldest numbers and the calls per letter. Print it or save it as a PDF for your books.

The programs are not signed with a Microsoft or Apple developer certificate, so Windows and macOS ask once before the first launch. On Windows, click More info, then Run anyway. On macOS, open System Settings > Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. The help guide walks through both, and through starting the Linux version from a terminal.

To check a download, compare it against the SHA-256 checksums.

The help guide

One guide covers Windows, macOS, and Linux: installing and first launch, signing in, patterns, setting up a session, running a game, display screens, backups, and troubleshooting. It also ships inside the program, under Help at the top of every admin page.
